I'm posting an original poem each Friday for a year. This is 6/52. Sometimes you just stumble across poems. This one is compiled from newspaper business headlines.

Found poem #2

Caterpillar drags down Dow

while Comp bounces on solid earnings,

retreating from an early move.

Many struggle to find direction, not a few wallowing in red ink. Stocks jump on debt talk,

but the dollar slips, then falls.

Up-side surprises?

Blue-chips are back in the black. The best guesses

are Standard and Poor.

In Europe, the rally isn't convincing; the Mirror says the scandal reflects badly on management.

PC worries dominate; regulators are mum.

We must demonstrate our house is in order; the House prepares to

act on its own.
